The Daniel Defense MK18 AR15 Pistol chambered in 5.56 NATO/223 REM is a civilian pistol variant of the combat proven MK18 Short barreled rifle used by US Special forces. This reliable pistol is built with the highest quality components to exacting standards and features innovative details that enhance the durability, functionality, and accuracy for the demanding requirements of combat. The MK18 Pistol features the same twist proof RIS II picatinny quad rail with a patented 6-bolt bolt system that rigidly attaches the handguard to the upper receiver.  The heart of this pistol is a HP/MPI tested, chrome lined, 10.3 inch Cold Hammer Forged threaded Barrel that is well suited to CQB operations including home defense.  The Daniel Defense MK18 AR15 pistol uses a finely tuned carbine length gas system with a hardened steel low profile gas block to reliably cycle the firearm with or without a suppressor. Up top, an ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle accommodates left or right-handed shooters. The Mk18 Pistol is as ergonomic as it is tough thanks to a Daniel Defense pistol grip with Soft Touch overmolding and integrated oversized trigger guard.
